Make way for the Q1 2023 Release! This new year, present your users, editors, and administrators with the goodness of our latest release. It comes packed with features that elevate user experience and make platform administration a breeze. Features such as post statistics and right-to-left language support will take user experience to the next level. Likewise, features like Central File Management and a custom dialog for Email send confirmation will delight platform administrators.
And that’s not all. Read the release notes to find out what more is in store. All of these are coming your way on February 9, 2023.
Central File Management
With the new Central File Management, we are building the foundation for administrators to manage files from a central location. You now have a detailed overview of media files added to the platform and can easily narrow down your find using search, sort, and filter functions. Delete one or more media files quickly and the changes will be reflected across the platform.
Improved Post Statistics
Post Statistics for News, released as beta in Release 5.0, have been further improved and are now available for all customers! See statistics directly from the News post overview in the Studio. With an updated design, detailed metrics give valuable insights into your internal communications, including user engagement, reach for mobile and desktop, and exact traffic sources that brought users to a post.
Custom Media in Screen Embedding
Enrich your slideshow for Screen Embedding with additional images and videos. This mix of dynamic news content and custom media amplifies your key messages to your employees onsite. Media in Screen Embedding is a great way to promote benefits, advertise events, or strengthen your employer brand.
Right-to-Left (RTL) Language Support
Staffbase supports RTL languages to make users with right-to-left language scripts feel at home. Now, if you have your content and interface languages set as Arabic, Hebrew, or Urdu, both the text and the interface layout will follow the conventions of RTL languages.
NPS Survey Question
The Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey question helps you collect reproducible, quantitative feedback. Pose a question with a scale of 0 to 10 to gauge how satisfied employees are with certain topics, process changes, or company updates. You can easily switch between the NPS or average calculation in the survey results to see the impact on employee satisfaction over time.
Customizable Send Confirmation
With the new Confirm Send menu for Employee Email, Parent Admins can create a custom confirmation dialog. When users click the final button to send or schedule an email from the web app or Studio, this dialog highlights the number of recipients selected and asks them to confirm their action or go back and make changes. It can be set to appear or not appear based on how many people will receive the email. It can also optionally include customized warning text and a checkbox to acknowledge rules or guidelines.

Along with Hashtags, the Hashtags Results feature allows your employees to deep-dive into a specific hashtag. Simply click on a hashtag to see a comprehensive overview displaying the exact news posts and pages where that hashtag was used across the platform. Available for both web apps and native devices.
