Screen Embedding
Make your company news available for digital signage with Screen Embedding. Let your employees enjoy a news slideshow on large digital screens, or add a QR code which they can scan to open the post in your platform. Display news in your office lounge or at an event by simply creating a slideshow from any news channel or news page.
Content Reviews
Comment, collaborate, and approve posts with the new Content Review feature. Located directly next to a news post, in all channel types, the Review tab allows post creators to gather feedback from stakeholders directly in the platform. Always stay up to date with email notifications for review requests and new comments!

Active Users Insights
The Analytics feature has a new tile chart to show when users are most active on average in your platform! The color-coded tiles easily allow you to see when your employees are normally most active and inactive. You can use the insights to plan announcements or platform updates accordingly.

Use Comment Moderation to make your platform a safe place where employees feel comfortable and confident sharing their opinions. It is now possible to download images from all over the platform on iOS and Android devices. No matter if you want to save something from News, a Plugin, or Chat, save everything that appeals to you.
Activation - It is now possible to also use Amazon Cognito for single sign-on, in addition to our previous identity providers like Microsoft, Google, Okta, and more. Use SSO to give your users an easy sign-in experience and lighter onboarding processes.
- The minimum supported mobile app version is now 4.6.

- For the News Feed widget, the List Layout of article posts has been improved.
- Staffbase 365 News Central for SharePoint v1.9.0.0 has been released. The new version includes some exciting improvements and fixes, such as:
- Optimized how posts titles are displayed based on the layout
- Optimized the color used for the news menu
- Skip post option once again works as expected
Bug Fixes
- When playing a video in a web browser and exiting fullscreen mode didn't work as expected. This has been fixed.
- In some cases, loading a video in a post caused higher data traffic consumption, even when the video was not yet playing. This has now been fixed.
- In the user lists in the Studio, it was not possible to filter out user accounts created with the SCIM API. This has now been fixed.
- When using multiple ways to synchronize user account data, user profile fields were emptied. This recently happened when using CSV imports and SCIM. This has been fixed.

- Administrators were not able to search users in a widget using their identifier. This has been fixed.
- When configuring legal documents, placeholders used in the confirmation dialog weren't replaced properly. This has been fixed.

Improvements
- In the Editorial Calendar, filters now remain selected after navigating away from the calendar or platform to save editors time. Editors still have the option to manually deselect filters.

Bug Fixes
- In some cases, clicking the Menu icon did not work as expected. This has been fixed.
- When submitting a form using the Forms plugin, if you leave a date field empty, it incorrectly resulted in auto date selection. This has been fixed.
- In the Forms plugin, in certain cases when you open an image submitted via Forms, a wrong image was opened. This has been fixed. Now when you click a submitted image, the clicked image opens.
- In some cases, the wrong post type was displayed when opening an existing post in the editor. This has been fixed.

Improvements
- The Comments API now aligns with the user interface in that users can only edit their own comments.
- When you reconfigure a widget and do have rights to some assigned groups, you will not be able to see the groups in the visibility settings or modify them. Instead, you will get a helpful message stating the reason.
Bug Fixes
- Space Admins were not able to assign news channels from their space to a News Stage or News Feed widget. This has been fixed.
- In News, authors were not able to see the "Edit" button on their own posts when the page was first loaded. This has been fixed.
- In the CSV import for a Journey, the steps in the Journey were sorted incorrectly. This has been fixed.
- The sorting of filters in the Employee Directory works once again as expected.
- Global Admins couldn’t create new content anymore. This has been fixed.
Mobile Devices
- The main menu opened while sliding through an image gallery on iOS and Android devices. This has been fixed.

Improvements
- Now in Forms plugin, under Submissions tab, editors can select from submissions and resend the submission to already defined recipients. This option is helpful if the recipients did not receive the submission via email or missed it.
- In the Editorial Calendar, for customers with the blockers feature activated, news posts that overlap with a publishing freeze now have a small warning alerting them to reconsider the timing.
iOS Devices
- The header of legal documents was not displayed properly on some devices. This has been fixed.
Android Devices
- The keyboard couldn’t be used after opening a video on fullscreen. This has been fixed.
