New Studio & Dashboard
More Reactions for News
Give your employees a variety of ways to react to news posts! Now your employees have more options to give authentic, nuanced, and universally understood feedback, all while staying professional. In addition to the Like come Celebrate , Support , Insightful , and Thanks . Everyone will find a natural way to react to all types of topics.
Search in Files
Now, you can search for and find content within all text-based files attached to Pages and News. Your search results are displayed in the new Files tab in the global Search. Furthermore, you can narrow your search results by filtering the results based on file types, the location where the file is attached, and the date range.
File Manager
Editors now have a quick access library to either upload new files, or reuse their previously uploaded files, when creating content for News and Pages. Find your File Manager under the paperclip icon in the News and Page editor toolbar. Editors have an elevated user experience of creating content with the new progress bar, indicating upload progress, and the context menu to edit or remove media files.
Post Statistics
Editors can now see new, detailed post statistics directly from the News channel overview in the Studio. New metrics add valuable insights into the most effective methods for your internal communication. Learn more about the sources that bring traffic to a post, get details on the reach for mobile and desktop devices, and see if employees watched a video directly in the newsfeed.
Multiple Choice Survey Question
Expand your surveys further and open up the possibilities of answers with the multiple choice question. You can pose a question and create many different possible answers for your employees to choose from. Leave the number of answers they choose up to them or define a limit to how many they can select. Additionally, you can view question results in their original numerical order or by most selected.
Multichannel Editorial Calendar
Streamline and plan your internal communications for different channels with the multichannel Editorial Calendar. When Employee Email is in the Studio, editors can see their own scheduled and sent emails alongside news posts and blockers. The flyout menu gives quick-view statistics for sent emails, including the open rate, number of recipients, and more. Provide a seamless content planning experience for your editors with this integrated overview.
Email Distribution List Sharing
New sharing options for distribution lists are available with Employee Email. Perfect for a more granular approach, list owners can now manage the sending and editing permissions for individual users in the web app and Studio.
Email Distribution List Filter and Search
Create filters to find specific contacts quickly using keywords or letters from email addresses when editing an Employee Email distribution list or checking the All Contacts page. You can now also look up distribution lists by their display names in the new search.
Microsoft 365 File Viewer Widget
The File Viewer widget is the latest addition to the Microsoft 365 widget family. Display any type of file format from Microsoft SharePoint or OneDrive center stage on News posts and Pages. Save the effort of uploading a file twice, and add a presentation, video, and more, for your employee to click through or watch directly within the Staffbase platform.

The improved Microsoft 365 widgets come with some significant design and usability improvements:

- Similarly, for the Calendar widget, you can directly select a group or shared calendar to display when configuring the widget.
- In the Files widget, you can now configure a list of files you want to display based on the search query.
If you are using the old authentication method, where you have Microsoft sign in and sign out under your Profile menu, you will be migrated to the new authentication method with sign in under Connected Accounts.
