Replace Files Improvements
Building on capabilities from the previous release, the enhanced Replace Files feature now supports not only PDFs and docs, but also images, videos, and audio files. Enjoy real-time updates without caching delays. Metadata displays the latest upload's file size and replacement date. The robust Version History shows changes with timestamps, authors, and reasons for the update—ensuring complete transparency and more versatile file management!

News Post Overview Page Improvements
The news post overview pages for channels now have better UX, with many discoverability improvements for editor roles and above. The enhancements simplify and speed up finding specific posts, with text search available for titles and content. Filter by post status to see draft, scheduled, or published articles. Filter by source to view content created in Staffbase or external content such as RSS feeds. Finally, you can sort the overview by recently updated, creation date, or publication date.
Enhanced News Post Sharing
Your employees can now share interesting news posts with colleagues in two exciting new ways. When news sharing is activated, users can effortlessly share news posts via email or to an application on desktop or mobile device. These improvements help keep your team well-connected and informed.

Auto-Translation for Journeys Posts
Journeys now support automatic translation of Journeys content, allowing editors to create multi-language Journeys content efficiently.
Edit Personal Email Addresses
The change personal email address feature is leaving Beta. You can now change a personal email address from your Employee App or Intranet account settings without having to contact support. To activate this feature, contact Staffbase Support or your Customer Success Manager.
Menu Item Visibility
The menu item visibility default setting is leaving Beta. Newly created installations, such as pages, plugin instances, folders, and news pages, now have their default device visibility settings for desktop and mobile set to hidden in the menu. This keeps menu items hidden unless enabled in the settings, preventing an overcrowded menu and preserving a clean and tidy interface.
Redesigned App Header and Horizontal Navigation
The app header and horizontal navigation on desktop have been redesigned to offer a more modern look and feel and an improved browsing experience. This update enhances usability, making navigation smoother and more intuitive for users.
Sentiment Labels on the Comments Overview Page
Easily gauge the tone of your audience with comment sentiment labels on the Comments overview page. Instantly see if a comment is positive, neutral, or negative at a glance. Editor roles and above can filter by sentiment and even manually edit individual comment sentiments, when necessary. All updates are seamlessly reflected in the Comment Sentiment section of the Smart Insights dashboard, giving you the clarity and ability to analyze and respond strategically.

Seamlessly share documents on the go. Employee App users can now upload files like PDFs, XLS, DOCs directly from their mobile phones into chat conversations. Mobile Quick Links Improvements
Mobile quick link management is now completely independent of menu management, giving you greater flexibility and precision. Any menu item, regardless of level or visibility setting in the mobile menu, can now be designated as a mobile quick link.

Exporting user data as CSV is now more powerful and efficient. Administrators can export CSV files for any number of users, with the process now handled asynchronously for optimal performance. App and Intranet Improvements
- In the Redesigned Search Results Page beta, the search flyout has been improved. The order now shows top results, followed by user results, and finally integrations. Additionally, the search field displays the last five searches. Contact Staffbase Support or your Customer Success Manager to activate this feature.
- In Campaigns, you can now create and edit campaigns in full-screen.
- In My Files, hovering over a collection or a file displays its full name.
App and Intranet Bugfixes
- In the Forms plugin, certain French translations were inaccurate. This has been fixed.
- In News, some content translated into Serbian displayed in Latin characters instead of Cyrillic. This has been fixed.

- You can now access the Staffbase Status page directly from the Studio to monitor platform updates. Look for the new link under your profile image's dropdown menu.
- In Campaigns, the overview page now has improved information architecture. The campaign list shows the number of posts assigned to a campaign. You can edit the campaign, create new posts, or alignment surveys via the three-dots option.
- The following improvements have been introduced to the File Manager:
- The Replace Files feature now supports more file types. In addition to document files, you can also replace images, videos, and audio files.
- Search and filter options are now available within Collections, making it easier to find files.

App and Intranet Improvements
- The Ideas Portal is getting a makeover to bring you an enhanced user experience. During this transition, you can still submit your feedback and ideas using the Give Feedback button in the sneak preview of the updated Ideas Portal. Learn more about submitting your feedback and ideas.
- In the File Manager, the Remove Collection option is now conveniently available in the context menu of each Collection.
- In Screens, you can now apply branding to a slideshow. In the Layout tab, Apply Branding provides options to use brand colors to the border, add the company logo, and display the current browser date and time.
- The Org Chart in the User Profile can now display more than 100 peers or subordinates. Clicking the Show More button seamlessly loads additional batches of employees.
- In the Search tab of the Analytics dashboard, it is now possible to filter by user group. Learn more about filtering.
- The rollout for the improved version of Secure Media, introduced in the Q2 2024 Release, has been completed.

- In External Content, you can now add PDF files, videos, and up to 20 images to your LinkedIn posts.
- The Editorial Calendar's improved Weekly View now includes an option to plan draft posts and remove planned posts from the sidebar. This improvement also applies to the Weekly View in the Advanced Editorial Calendar. Learn more.
- In the File Manager, administrators can now delete files directly from the file's context menu. This improvement simplifies file management.
- In Screens, when adding images to a slideshow, you can now choose the Fill image option in addition to the Fit image option. When you select the Fill image option, the images have no blurred background and it takes up the entire image area.

- In comment fields, the Italian localization for the placeholder was not optimal. This has been fixed.

- In Staffbase Recent News in Viva Connections, an upgrade to version 1.20.0 is available for the SPFx framework. To benefit from this upgrade, admins should download and install the latest Staffbase News via Viva Connections ACE v2.0.0.0 in the Studio.

- In News, for internal sharing, users can now share news posts via email or to an application on their desktop or mobile device. Learn more.
- In the Editorial Calendar, quick edit options for article and media posts have been added to the monthly and improved weekly view. Depending on the news channel type, quick editing allows you to edit the title, date and time, teaser text, and description, and to disable or enable the scheduling. Learn more.

- In the Forms plugin, the submission date was only displayed in a US date format (month/day/year). This has been improved to adapt based on the user's device or browser language.
- In Strategic Planning, news posts with the status Planned are now displayed in the timeline view below their assigned campaign.
- In Pages, the Animation widget is now available. You can choose between four celebratory overlays: confetti, fireworks, balloons, or snow. The Animation widget remains available also in News.
- In External Content, you can now edit the names of custom channels and assigned accounts. Additionally, you can adjust the channel icon.
- In the File Manager, in the Replace Files feature, Version History is now available. This function displays each time the file was replaced, by whom, and the update note explaining why.

- In News, in some cases, posts in Polish and Georgian were not translated correctly when there was an HTML hyperlink. This has been fixed.

Mission Control Improvements
