Dynamic Block Targeting
Send highly personalized emails at scale without creating multiple versions. Editors assign targeting rules to content blocks, defining which user groups or users each block is intended for. When the email is sent, blocks are automatically shown or hidden based on the assignment, ensuring each recipient sees only what is relevant to them. The result: less manual work, fewer errors, and more engaging emails from one streamlined workflow.
Staffbase Live
Go live with your organization in real time. Staffbase Live empowers moderators to stream major company events like town halls directly to employees in their App and Intranet. Turn your Staffbase platform into a single hub for live and on-demand communications, with real-time emoji reactions, chat, and optional recordings for later viewing. Make Staffbase your gateway to all communication needs for every big or small moment.
Content Governance
Content Governance for Pages continuously monitors published pages and flags issues such as outdated or unused content. These insights help companies improve content quality and minimize page-related oversights. A clear, centralized overview makes content governance smarter and more scalable, while reducing reliance on manual reviews and keeping editors fully in control of decisions.
Tasks
Tasks (formerly Task Management) is moving out of Beta. It enables frontline employees to create, assign, organize, and track tasks directly in the app. Available on mobile and desktop, Tasks centralizes work to improve accountability and collaboration. The new Tasks Hub widget in the content editor provides a central entry point to all assigned projects, making it easy to access and switch between them.
Journey Overview
The Journey Overview (formerly Journey Navigator) provides employees with a central view of active and completed journeys. It shows a clear timeline with steps, past messages, and a preview of the upcoming step. The Journey Overview can be linked from menus, mobile quick links, headers, or pages. Additionally, system-wide editors can create a dedicated landing page that acts as a journeys hub with added context and resources.
Redesigned Pages
Redesigned Pages offer an enhanced and accessible creation and editing experience. Editors can choose between the Classic Editor and the new Content Designer for Pages to create content in a modern, intuitive way. With drag-and-drop blocks, improved WYSIWYG editing, keyboard-friendly interactions, page previews, drafts for published pages, and modernized version history, page creation is more efficient, flexible, and controlled.
Video Subtitles
Make video content more accessible and inclusive with AI-powered subtitles. Newly uploaded videos automatically receive subtitles in the original language, currently supporting English, German, Spanish, and French. Communicators can review and edit subtitle text, upload custom VTT files, and mark subtitles as reviewed, while employees can enable subtitles and switch languages during playback in News and Pages.
AI Podcast
The AI Podcast transforms internal updates into personalized audio episodes, enabling employees to stay informed wherever they are, whether commuting, traveling, or multitasking. Administrators can easily turn existing content into consistent, high-quality On Air podcast episodes while maintaining full control over messaging, accuracy, tone, and alignment with organizational goals and communication strategies.
Improvements
Automatic Rollout
Microsoft 365 Search Filters
To enhance discoverability and streamline searches in Microsoft 365, you can now filter search results by File Type and Last Modified. These filters enable you to refine search results more easily and locate relevant documents faster.
Page Owner
To improve content governance on pages, a dedicated Page Owner field has been introduced. It identifies the person responsible for keeping content up to date and compliant with company guidelines. The field also lays the foundation for future review workflows in AI Content Governance and helps administrators and editors quickly identify the right contact for questions or updates.
Staffbase Companion Editor for News
Originally released with the Q2 2024 Release, the AI-powered Staffbase Companion Editor is now available via self-service activation for all App and Intranet customers. Unlock the full potential of the Companion Editor to create and refine article text, teaser text, and titles across article channel types. Administrators can optionally activate the feature from the Self-Service AI Settings Page in the Studio.
Improved Mobile Search
Now leaving beta, the mobile search improvements deliver significant usability and accessibility enhancements. A more prominent search icon in the start page header and an improved visual design make results clearer and easier to scan. Users can seamlessly access third-party content from integrations via Google Drive, Microsoft 365, Confluence, Box, and ServiceNow. New search categories for Forms & Surveys and Calendars & Events enable more precise results. Additional enhancements include content descriptions for better context, filters, sorting options, and a Last Searches feature for quick access to recent queries.
