@Mentions in News Posts
Enhance connectivity and recognition by tagging users via @Mentions in news posts! Content creators can highlight team achievements or celebrate a work anniversary by mentioning users. @Mentioning triggers a bubble in their notification center and, when enabled, a push notification. Readers can easily click the @Mention to view their colleague's user profile.
Improved News Sharing
Sharing in News has been improved and streamlined! The improved feature simplifies sharing content both internally and externally. With just one click, users can copy a link to share with colleagues or effortlessly share posts from a public news channel on major social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.
Microsoft 365 Viva Communities Widget
The Viva Communities widget is the latest addition to the Microsoft 365 widget family. Promote one or more Viva Engage communities, display the communities as cards on News Posts and Pages, and invite users to take part in community activities. Clicking on a community card seamlessly directs users to the community space in their Viva Engage app.
Alignment Surveys
Alignment Surveys for Campaigns allow you to add a scale rating survey to the end of a news article assigned to a campaign. Users can submit one survey per post, allowing you to gain direct feedback on your campaign narratives. This helps you understand how employees perceive a campaign message and monitor changes over time. Survey results are available in the Smart Insights dashboard. This feature is a part of the beta for the new Mission Control product.
Improved Content Review
The most recent improvements on Content Reviews allow you to assign tasks and request non-blocking approvals using the @mentions feature. This significantly enhances collaboration within the Review tab of News posts. When a task is assigned or approval is requested, the respective user receives an immediate email notification. This feature is a part of the beta for the new Mission Control product.
Improved Email Personalization
Go beyond names by incorporating custom attributes such as department names or project titles from an uploaded CSV file, creating highly tailored messages that resonate with each recipient. This improvement is designed to boost employee experience, enhance operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making, ensuring your communications are more relevant and impactful than ever before.
Microsoft Media Improvements
Introducing two new seamless integrations to boost efficiency for organizations using Microsoft 365. Now, you can set a Microsoft Stream video as the cover for your articles and media news posts. Additionally, a new media dropdown option allows you to embed any Microsoft 365 file directly into the main content of your article posts and pages.
Tables in Email Designer
Elevate your email communication with Employee Email, now featuring effortless table creation. Build tables from scratch, or simply copy and paste them into your email draft from any source. This enhancement allows you to present data clearly, making your emails more organized and visually appealing. You'll improve communication efficiency and ensure your messages are more impactful and professional.
