Adding Draft Posts to the Editorial Calendar
You can add draft posts that have not yet been assigned a publishing date to the Weekly View of the Editorial Calendar.
Adding draft posts to your calendar helps you visualize your content planning but does not schedule them for publishing. Be sure to schedule each post separately when ready.
- In the Studio, navigate to the Planning > Editorial Calendar.
- Click Filters.
The filter options open. -
From the Display options dropdown, select Drafts.
- Click Apply.
A sidebar with draft posts opens.
Note: The sidebar lists all unscheduled draft posts that are not yet planned or scheduled, sorted by last edited in descending order.
- Navigate to the post you want to plan and drag it to the desired date and time on the calendar.
Note: You can only drag and drop draft posts into future dates.
Your draft has been added to the calendar. You can now schedule the draft using quick editing.
You can remove posts from the Editorial Calendar by dragging and dropping the post from the Editorial Calendar to the draft sidebar. The post then displays at the top of the sidebar.
You can close the sidebar by deselecting the display option Drafts in the filters or clicking X in the sidebar.
