Content Governance helps editors maintain published pages at scale directly within the Pages plugin. The dedicated tab next to the Pages overview continuously monitors published pages and identifies issues such as outdated, unused, or poorly structured content. These insights provide teams with the information they need to improve governance practices and reduce page-related content debt. The overview helps scale growing intranets and enable teams to adapt to changing organizational needs.
In the Content Governance tab, top metrics provide metrics at-a-glance and an overview list displaying the title, issues, views, and page owner for each page you have access to.
From the action menu for each page, you can show the details about the issues with suggested actions for change. You can also edit, adjust the publication status, or change the reminder for the page. Content Governance makes page management smarter and less dependent on manual reviews.
The issues display when pages have:
- Not had an update for more than a year
- Expired page reminders
- Zero views in the last three months
- Broken links to unpublished or deleted Employee App or Intranet content
- User widgets linked to inactive users
- Duplicate content with another page in the Space (AI-powered)
- Contradictory content with another page in the Space (AI-powered)
