Navigator 2.0
Navigator 2.0 helps administrators get started faster and deliver more relevant guidance to employees. The improved onboarding experience simplifies setup, and new content controls let administrators include or exclude news sources and set time frames for news content. These improvements keep guidance accurate and up to date. They reduce manual effort and are automatically available if Navigator is already activated.
Event Promotion via Email
System-wide editors can create and manage events, and folder editors can promote workplace events directly via Staffbase Email. Events can be in-person, online, or hybrid. Recipients receive a calendar file to save the event, and attendees can RSVP straight from the email. Organizers get a full response overview in the Events Center, with an additional option to export it via CSV.
Content Designer Improvements
Plugin editors get a smoother page-building and editing experience. The Content Designer now features new blocks, such as News Section, Image Gallery, and Navigation, plus enhancements to the News Block, anchor links, and Quick Link customization. In addition, administrators can now apply custom CSS to Content Designer pages using a new CSS Editor in the Branding settings.
Single Page Migration
Single Page Migration is leaving beta. Administrators can now migrate Content Designer-ready pages from the Classic Editor to the Content Designer one at a time, giving them control over the pace of the transition. Administrators can review and edit each page as a draft before completing the migration, enabling gradual, controlled adoption across Pages.
Video Subtitles
Video Subtitles is now out of beta, making video content more accessible and inclusive with AI-powered subtitles. Newly uploaded videos automatically receive subtitles in the original language, with English, German, Spanish, and French currently supported. Communicators can review and edit subtitle text, upload custom VTT files, and mark subtitles as reviewed. Employees can enable subtitles and switch languages during playback in News and Pages.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is now out of beta, adding an extra layer of sign-in security for users who sign in with an email/password or username/password combination. After entering their credentials, users must verify their identity with a 6-digit code sent to their email address, confirming it's really them before granting access. This extra step helps protect your App and Intranet accounts from unauthorized sign-ins.
Improvements
Automatic Rollout
Analytics Dashboard News Tab Improvements
News editors can now get deeper insight into how their news content is performing with a range of new reporting capabilities in the News tab of the Analytics dashboard. They can filter posts by publication date, measure Reach at both the channel and post level, and track engagement through new metrics like Time Spent on Post, Bounce Rate, and Clicks. All new metrics are exportable via CSV for custom reporting.
Improved Menu Hierarchy
Now leaving beta, the improved menu hierarchy offers system-wide editors greater flexibility in structuring their navigation. Any menu item, except news pages, can now include a subordinate item to group related content. The mobile menu structure has also been refined for better navigation. There are now four menu item hierarchy levels, with the fifth level opening on a new page.
Auto-save in Drafts
Email drafts are now saved automatically during editing, capturing changes every 10 seconds. The last save is confirmed by a green status indicator showing the timestamp.
Microsoft SharePoint News Integration
The new Microsoft SharePoint integration allows email creators to browse and drag SharePoint News articles directly into the design of their draft email.

The My Groups Overview page provides a centralized area for employees to discover, join, and manage group memberships from their App or Intranet. Groups are organized into Current Groups and Available Groups, making it easy to view active memberships and explore new groups. Each group is displayed as a tile with an image, icon, title, and quick link access to group content. Administrators can customize all the tile info from the Studio.
