Stay on brand, find answers faster, build custom reports, and more! The October 2026 Release brings your web apps enhanced user and branding experiences, custom analytics, and AI-powered search. Read on to see what's arriving in web apps on October 1, 2026.
Staffbase is transitioning from quarterly releases to a monthly release rhythm. This release marks the first step toward bringing new features and improvements to your platform sooner. This means you will receive features monthly and in more manageable increments, making it easier to discover and adopt across all user roles. The Q4 2026 quarterly release will be the last release in the current format and will take place as originally scheduled on October 22, 2026.
As there are two releases in October, your mobile apps will receive one combined update with the Q4 Release. This release, on October 1, 2026, allows you to explore the latest features and enhancements on the web app, while the Q4 Release brings the latest mobile improvements from both releases together in one update.
As we complete the transition, Staffbase Support and your Customer Success Manager are here to help with any questions you may have.

Classic Page Editor
Starting in 2027, the Classic Editor for Pages will be sunset in three phases.
The Content Designer, available since the Q2 2026 Release, is the new way to create and edit pages. It makes it easier to build modern pages, with branding and draft-based publishing allowing for a more consistent and streamlined editing experience.
You can upgrade your Classic Editor pages to the Content Designer ahead of this timeline.
| Phase | Start | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Q1 2027 | New pages can no longer be created with the Classic Page Editor. Existing pages remain editable. |
| 2 | Q2 2027 | Existing classic pages become view-only until an editor upgrades them to the Content Designer. |
| 3 | Q3 2027 | Remaining Classic Editor pages are automatically upgraded to the Content Designer. |
