Follow-Up Emails
Make every message count with follow-up emails in Staffbase. With just a click, editors can send targeted follow-up emails right from the email analytics view to boost visibility and engagement. Whether targeting non-openers or the entire original audience, it is now simpler to reinforce key updates, clarify information, or correct mistakes. Each follow-up clearly references the original email, ensuring transparency and traceability.
Surveys in Emails
Easily collect and boost engagement with surveys in Staffbase Email! This addition allows managing editor roles and above to create surveys, while survey editors can add questions, schedule, and view results for published surveys. The survey block in the email designer lets you embed surveys in emails that open on a landing page. Aligned with App and Intranet features, customers benefit from a seamless experience with shared surveys.
Group Builder
Staffbase reinvents group management with a sleek, smarter overview page! Its intuitive design and powerful features make it easier than ever for administrators to create, edit, and organize groups. Define precise rules using the enhanced condition editor and new exclusion logic, and even include or exclude specific users. Duplicate groups, add descriptions for context, and enjoy powerful search and centralized control to handle complex needs with ease.
HR Integrations
Staffbase now offers seamless HR integrations, letting administrators easily connect systems like Workday or SAP Success Factors through a self-service setup. Out-of-the-box widgets for payslips and absence provide employees with direct access to personal HR info on their page in the app or intranet. With easy troubleshooting, simple setup, real-time updates, and push notifications for payslips, the experience is smooth for administrators, editors, and users.
Pages Tab in Analytics Dashboard
The new Pages tab in the Analytics dashboard provides powerful insights into overall and individual page performance. Deep dive into page metrics with the easy-to-use graphs for visibility and a comprehensive list showing page views, visitors, bounce rate, and more. Apply filters to zero in on what matters most, and export data as CSVs for deeper analysis. It’s a smarter, faster way to understand and optimize your content strategy.
New Pages Overview & Settings
The Pages plugin in the Studio has received a visual and functional refresh that aligns with the Studio’s streamlined design and lays the foundation for future enhancements. Updates include a left-aligned search bar, unified sort and filter options, an Updated By column, pagination, and a new Copy Link quick action. Page settings streamline content management with updates like dedicated selectors for visibility and editors.
Improvements
Automatic Rollout
Personalization for Subject Line and Preview Text
Drive higher engagement from the first glance. Editors can now personalize subject lines and preview text with recipients' first and last names. This builds on existing email body personalization to help messages stand out in crowded inboxes and feel more relevant to each reader.
Self-Service
Administrators can now manage key email settings directly in Studio without needing to wait on support. Verify the sending domain directly in the Studio, configure sender and reply-to addresses for each folder, and customize the support email and icon to reflect your brand. Enjoy more autonomy, faster setup, and smoother communication.
Surveys Improvements
Surveys have been enhanced for better user experience, updated design, and improved functionality. With draft or scheduled surveys, it is now possible to copy questions between surveys or duplicate them within the same survey to help streamline the survey creation process. In addition, the redesigned interface has been completely reworked to provide a modern, streamlined look.
Page Description for Search
Managing editors can now add custom descriptions to pages directly in the Studio. These descriptions appear in search snippets and are prioritized over page content in keyword ranking. By including relevant search terms in a clear and concise way, organizations can improve the discoverability of important pages and help users quickly understand their purpose in search results.
Search Results Page Redesign
We're introducing major improvements to the search results page to ensure a more intuitive experience. The redesigned Search Results page now offers dedicated integration sections, improved sorting and filtering, and various other improvements.
Breadcrumb Visibility
Breadcrumb visibility can now be set in the plugin settings, independent of menu item visibility. This gives editors more control over navigation behavior, allowing them to choose to show items in breadcrumbs, even if they are hidden in the menu. This ensures a clearer navigation path for users and supports flexible content structures.
Activation
Improved CSV Import
Now leaving beta, the CSV Import experience for administrators has been significantly enhanced to make user management more efficient. The update introduces clearer error reporting to support easier troubleshooting, along with the ability to review all changes made after an import is completed. A refreshed user interface also improves the overall workflow, making the process more intuitive and user-friendly. Additionally, the partial CSV import feature is now available. This optional functionality allows you to process updates for a subset of users, which is especially useful if you prefer not to use the delta import. Contact Staffbase Support or your Customer Success Manager to activate this optional functionality.
Workday User Management Integration
Now out of beta, the Workday user management integration in Staffbase Studio enables automatic user synchronization every 24 hours. It simplifies user management by keeping employee data consistent and up to date across your HR system and communications platform. No manual updates are needed. It's a simple, reliable way to keep your platforms in sync.
Beta With Activation
Real-Time Collaboration
Create emails together without the chaos. Real-time collaboration lets multiple editors work on the same draft without overwriting each other's changes. Editors can see who is in the draft and what they’re editing, making teamwork smoother and more secure than ever.
Journey Navigator
The Journey Navigator provides employees with a centralized overview of all their ongoing and past journeys. Users can now see their journey steps in a clear timeline, including previous messages and a preview of upcoming ones. This update also introduces flexible access options. Journeys can be linked from the menu, added to mobile quick links, included in the custom header, or embedded in pages. This ensures employees never miss an important step in their onboarding, training, or engagement journeys. Additionally, to provide context around Journeys within the organization, system-wide editors can create a dedicated Journey Navigator landing page. This landing page acts as a customizable hub to explain what journeys are, how they’re used, and links to relevant resources.
Microsoft Intune SDK Integration
It is now possible to use Microsoft Intune with the Employee App through the new SDK integration. This offers enhanced security and manageability for customers using Microsoft Intune for Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM). The integration allows companies to apply a wide set of controls on the Employee App, helping align it with corporate strategies and policies.
Infrastructure
Automated Mobile App Security Scans
As part of our ongoing infrastructure improvements, Staffbase has implemented custom automation logic to routinely scan new mobile app releases for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. When issues are detected, the system automatically generates internal development tickets to ensure timely and consistent resolution. This automation replaces manual scans, streamlining the resolution process and reinforcing our commitment to secure mobile experiences.
Deprecations
Legacy CSV Import
Starting October 31, 2025, the legacy CSV Import method will no longer be offered. If you use it for user management, Staffbase strongly recommends switching to the improved CSV import feature for advanced capabilities and a better user experience. After this date, you will be automatically migrated to the improved CSV import feature.
