Staffbase’s lightweight HR integrations offer out-of-the-box connectivity with HR systems. These integrations are powered by Merge and enable employees to access their key HR information, such as payslips and absence tracking, directly within their App or Intranet.
You can set up integrations with the following HR systems:
- Workday
- SAP SuccessFactors
You can configure up to three HR integrations. Each integration appears as a separate entry in the Studio.
You can use multiple configurations to support common scenarios, such as:
- Different integrations across geographies: An organization may use different HR services for different countries or regions. For example, you can create two Workday integrations and one SAP SuccessFactors integration.
- Multiple connections to the same integration: Large organizations with subsidiaries may have each subsidiary connected to its own instance of the same HR system. For example, you can create three Workday integrations.
- User-specific service connections: A user with roles in multiple divisions may have access to different HR systems. For example, one division might use SAP SuccessFactors, while another uses Workday. If the data is sourced from multiple HR systems, the user can select their preferred data source.
Benefits
Easily configure the integration in the Studio without custom development.
Connects to various HR systems to provide users with real-time data in the App or Intranet.
Staffbase uses Merge.dev as the integration layer to aggregate APIs and synchronize data from connected HR systems, minimizing technical complexity.
Overview of Configuration of HR Integrations
Administrators need to establish a connection between Staffbase and your HR system by:
- Prepare your HR System for the integration: Set up the permissions and requirements in your HR System:
- Add and configure the HR integration.
- Activate HR features to make them available to editors through the widgets.
Once the widgets are available in the Add widget dialog, editors can add the widgets to a page and publish the page to make the services available to the employees.
How the HR Integrations Look for Users
Based on the HR service made available users can access their payroll or absence information in the App or Intranet. Notifications are enabled by default to keep employees informed, but users can turn them off anytime in the app’s notification settings.
