Staffbase Email offers two ways to send a follow-up: a classic follow-up that resends an email to non-openers or the original audience, and an event follow-up that targets the event's attendees based on their RSVP status. Select the tab that matches your use case to see the steps.
Follow-up emails are the best way to ensure your message does not go unnoticed. With Staffbase Email, you can resend messages to non-openers or the original audience directly from the email analytics tab. The follow-up email copies the original, with the option to edit before resending. This helps you reinforce important updates or fix mistakes with minimal effort. Each follow-up is automatically linked to the original email, maintaining full transparency for editors. You can send one follow-up email for each original email.
- In the Studio, navigate to Email > Sent > the email for which you want to send a follow-up.
The Email statistics open. - Click Create Follow-Up.
- Optionally, click Edit Design to make additions or changes to the email content.
-
Select whether you want to send to Non-Openers or to All Original Recipients.
- Click Send.
The Send Follow-Up Email dialog opens. - Click Send.
You have successfully sent a follow-up email. The email is displayed with the prefix Follow-Up under Recently Sent. You can open the details of the follow-up email to see the settings and the link to the original email.
You can turn any email in which you already promoted an event into a follow-up addressed to that event's audience. This saves you from recreating the email or rebuilding the recipient list by hand, and lets you narrow the audience by RSVP status, for example to nudge people who have not responded or thank those who attended.

You have successfully sent or scheduled a follow-up email for the event. The email appears in the event's email table with a follow-up icon , so you can tell it apart from the original.
If you schedule a follow-up email, Staffbase automatically updates the audience if invitees change their RSVP status before the email goes out.
