To add a list of Microsoft files to Pages or News posts in the Staffbase platform, use the Microsoft 365 Files widget. Editors can add this widget to show different types of file lists from Microsoft 365, such as trending or recent files, or files from a specific library. Users can choose to view files in either a list or tile view. In addition, the search function in the widget helps users find the file they are looking for quickly.
In SharePoint, the content approval setting allows only approved content to be visible to users. If the content approval setting is enabled for a library from which you want to display files, only approved files are included in the widget. Also, ensure that users have access to the files you want to display in the widget.
