Microsoft 365 widgets make content or services from Microsoft platforms available to your users on Pages. You need to activate the Microsoft widgets so that your users can see the content in the widget from their Microsoft platforms. Suppose the Microsoft 365 widgets are already added to your platform. In that case, editors could still add them to pages without activating them. But the content inside the widget will not be displayed to users. Instead, they will get a message to contact their administrator.
Prerequisites
- You have added Microsoft 365 Connections.
- In the Studio, navigate to Settings > Third-Party Connections.
- Under your Microsoft 365, activate the toggle for the Microsoft 365 widget of your choice.
The dialog to Activate Microsoft 365 widget opens. - Click Activate to enable it for your users.
Next Steps
Grant permissions for the Microsoft Entra app used for the Microsoft connection. Once you grant permissions, your users can see the content in the widget.
You must grant permission for the Microsoft Entra app again each time you activate another Microsoft 365 widget. Staffbase recommends activating all Microsoft 365 widgets together and thus only granting permissions once.
