Edit other Employee Email users' settings that are available to you (depending on your account type) and optionally remove their access.
Note: For standalone Email, you can deactivate Employee Email users.
Ownership of the deactivated users’ resources (any distribution lists, Email Designer drafts, or templates) transfers automatically to the account that deactivated them.
Managing Users With Integrated App/Intranet
If you have Staffbase App/Intranet integrated with Employee Email and need to remove users who have access to both App/Intranet and Email, remove them from your App/Intranet. Contact Staffbase Support or your Customer Success Manager for details.
When managing users in an organization with integrated App/Intranet and Email, the main User Settings menu in the Studio and the Team page embedded in this menu fulfill different functions.
Use the Studio to:
- Add users
- Remove users
- Update user information
Use the Team page to:
- If enabled, manage users' Feature Access settings in Employee Email, such as their options for sending and styling emails or generating reports
- Edit group memberships for collaboration on emails
- Sign in as other users (for example, shared user accounts created for shared email addresses)
Editing a User
- On the Team page, click the three dots next to the user you want to edit.
- Click Edit User to change their settings.
- Edit any of the user's details that are accessible for your account type.
- Click Save & Update.
Feature Access Settings
If enabled, these settings let you customize individual users’ permissions and add more specific types of access or restrictions beyond the default settings for their account type.
Contact Staffbase Support or your Customer Success Manager for details.

Email Drafts & Templates
By default, all Employee Email account types have the ability to create and edit drafts in the Email Designer.
In some situations, it may be helpful to restrict users’ ability to add or change your email content.
To restrict a user's access, un-check the box labeled Create/Edit.
Reports

To remove this restriction, check the box labeled Styling Access.

Without any Contacts & Sending permissions, users can only view or edit the display names of distribution lists that they already own or lists that are shared with them.
To give a user this limited level of access, un-check the box labeled Access to Contacts & Sending.
You can enable users to see or edit distribution lists that they own and lists that are shared with them while safely preventing them from accessing All Contacts for their organization.

Both of these permissions are required for a user to connect Employee Email to Microsoft Entra ID, Workday, or Staffbase App/Intranet.
