The Events block lets you promote workplace events, such as office events or virtual town halls, through Staffbase Email. Promoting events in emails helps increase awareness and attendance. You can use a single workflow to promote in-person, online, and hybrid events. Email recipients are automatically invited to the event. They can RSVP and add the event to their calendar directly from the email.
Prerequisite:
- The event you want to promote was created, and is located in the same Space as the email you are drafting.
- In the Studio, navigate to Email.
- Click Create Email or open the email in which you want to promote an event.
- In the Email Designer, select the Events block from the left panel.
An event quick block is added to the email. - Under Upcoming Events on the right search or filter for the event you want to add.

Click or drag and drop the event into the Email Designer.
The event details are added to the event quick block.
- Optionally, edit the details or adjust the layout of the block.
Any changes are made only to the email. The original event is not updated.
- Click Save.
You have successfully added an event to your email. You can now complete and send your email. System-wide editors and higher can track event responses in Events.
If you use the Employee App or Staffbase Intranet together with Staffbase Email and have Staffbase Live activated, you can also promote Staffbase Live Broadcast events in your emails.
You can include the Live Broadcast in the Event block for all recipients, regardless of the event's target audience. However, only recipients who are included in the Live Broadcast event's target audience can access the live stream.

- You have Staffbase Email plus the Employee App or Staffbase Intranet.
- Staffbase Live is activated for your platform.
- The Live Broadcast event you want to promote was created and is located in the same Space as the email.
- In the Studio, navigate to Email.
- Click Create Email or open the email in which you want to promote an event.

How Event Promotion Looks For Users
The Event block includes a link to the event registration page where they can RSVP. If recipients want to change their response, they can click the link and update their choice at any time.
