The channel management is located in the Team administration within Content Settings Channels.
You can link your own social media accounts to Communications Control by clicking on the pink Plus button. To do this, first select the corresponding platform.
Content can automatically be posted to the following channels using Communications Control:
-
Facebook
-
Google My Business
-
Instagram
-
LinkedIn
-
LinkedIn Showcase Page
-
Staffbase
-
TikTok
-
X (Twitter )
-
WordPress
-
YouTube
In addition to the channels mentioned above, you have the option of adding further channels via the Other button. As soon as the Name and URL fields are filled in, you can confirm the entry via Save and New and then add further channels or return to the channel settings via Save.
For these channels, content can only be created and scheduled via Communications Control, but not published.
If the added channel is supported by the dialog module, it is automatically activated for this module. You can recognize this by the pink dialog icon in the column of the channel. It is not possible to disable channels for the Dialog module.
The approval for automatic publishing of content can be restricted in Communications Control by designating channel owners for content and dialog tickets. Channels can be removed by clicking on the Unassign channel option in the three-item menu of the corresponding line. Content that was assigned the channel will not be assigned a new one after deletion so the Channels field will remain empty. On the scheduled publishing date, an error will occur: the content will not be published and will be assigned the status Incorrect. In addition, when a channel is deleted, the associated data is irrevocably lost.
Tip: If you, as an admin, are unable to create a channel with an indication of missing authorization, activate the Channel Management module.
