Staffbase offers many languages for the interfaces of the Staffbase platform and for your content creation. The most used languages are part of the standard product and are available in the product.

App or Intranet Interface

Content Language for Other Plugins

Plugins like Forms, Chat, and so on come with their own language options. 

Depending on the plugin and its language options, the options for language of the plugin interface and plugin content may differ. Some plugins only allow the setup with one content language. There is a workaround to offer a plugin with content in different languages. You can translate the name displayed in the menu into all content languages enabled for the app.

Studio

The web interface of the Studio is available in the following languages:  

• English
• Danish
• Dutch
• Finnish
• French
• German
• Italian
• Japanese 
• Portuguese
• Norwegian (partly)
• Spanish
• Swedish

The Studio is not customizable.

Can Staffbase add a new language for the app interface or Studio?

Yes, the app, plugins, and the Studio can be translated into other languages. Contact Staffbase Support or your Customer Success Manager to discuss your specific requirements.

Can Staffbase customize texts in the app interface? 

Yes, customization of certain texts, labels, or system messages on the app interface and News and Pages interface is possible. Whereas the labels or buttons in the interface of the plugins are non customizable.
