Once you have enabled the confirmation of legal documents, you can add a list of legal documents directly to the confirmation dialog. This way, users no longer have to search for new and updated legal documents, but can easily access them directly from the confirmation dialog. 

Prerequisites 

• You have created a legal document.
• You have enabled the confirmation of legal documents.

Linking to a legal document

1. In the Studio, navigate to Settings > Legal documents.
   
   
2. Click Confirmation settings.
   
   
   
   The previously created message for the confirmation dialog opens. 
3. Provide a short confirmation message for the users. 
   
   This message will be displayed above the list of legal documents. If you are upgrading from the previous version of legal documents handling, the previously linked legal documents using curly brackets must be manually removed. For example, {Data Protection Agreement}.
4. Select the documents that need to be linked in the confirmation dialog.
   
   
   
   
   If you are upgrading from the previous version of legal documents handling, the previously linked legal documents are removed from the confirmation dialog.
   You must select the relevant legal documents again to link the documents.
5. Click Preview confirmation link to preview the confirmation dialog.
   
   
   
   The preview opens in a separate dialog.
   
   
   In the preview mode, ensure that all the required legal documents are linked.
   Each user will see a different list of documents depending on the visibility settings of the legal docs.
6. Click Accept to close the preview. 
7. Click Save.

How Different Users Will View the Confirmation Dialog

The list of legal documents displayed within the confirmation dialog will vary for each user depending on whether the document is relevant for a user or not. For example, User A needs to read and confirm three different legal documents, whereas User B only one. Therefore, each receives different legal docs in their confirmation dialog.
