User Rights Management with Roles
To manage the app and keep it running you will need a team that takes care of the app. The normal user can only see the app. To add content, review content, manage users, and so on, you need to give certain users extended rights.
Staffbase manages rights for different purposes with roles. If you give a user a certain role, they will get the rights to do more than just be a user. There are roles that clearly focus on contributing and editing content, and there are roles that cover a wider range of tasks, like user management and adjusting app settings.
Content-Specific Roles
For example, you can have a Content Editor that is only allowed to post, edit and delete news posts in one specific news channel - this right will not affect any other news channel, page, or plugin. Content-specific roles are set directly at the content.
System-Wide Roles
The system-wide Editor, on the other hand, is allowed to manage content throughout the whole app. System-wide roles are set in the user management.
