Within Communications Control, you can determine which users should see your Facebook and LinkedIn posts. In the Targeting tab in the content detail view of Facebook and LinkedIn posts, you will find the corresponding targeting options.
Facebook Targeting
If you select the Facebook content type in the Post tab in the settings, the menu automatically expands to include the Targeting tab.
In this tab, you can make numerous settings to ensure that posts will only be published to a specific audience. These options include:
News Feed Targeting:
- Interests
- Age (from to)
- Language(s)
- Relationship Status
- Education Level
- Location
Audience Restrictions:
- Age (from)
- Language(s)
- Location
LinkedIn Targeting
If you select LinkedIn as the content type for your post, the menu also expands to include the Targeting tab.
Here, you can narrow down your target audience using numerous filtering options. These include:
- Language
- Location (country group, country, state, region)
- Job function
- Industry
- Company size
- Seniority
Next, you will be shown the estimated audience size. If this is below 300, your post cannot be promoted (LinkedIn restriction). In this case, expand your filters until the audience reaches the minimum size.
