The cross-publishing feature allows you to create and publish a piece of content on multiple platforms within one screen. Cross-post creation is suitable, for example, if you publish a Facebook post and want to post it almost identically on Instagram, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn as well.
Creating Cross-Posts
-
Create a content, add the required strategic information, and fill in the post editor.
-
Click the blue cross-post button below the mask.
-
A list with all available content types opens.
-
In the list, select the content type for which you want to create a cross-post, in our example, X (Twitter). Another mask will now appear below the cross-post button, into which the content of the original post has been duplicated, and the content type has been selected.
-
Adjust the cross-post to the criteria of the respective platform, in our case, fewer characters and the use of hashtags.
Note: Changes made to a cross-post only apply to the cross-post itself and not to the original post.
-
Repeat steps 2-5 until you have created all needed cross-posts. There is no limit to the number of cross-posts you can create. Alternatively, you can copy a cross-post by clicking the three-dot menu at the top right of the title and selecting Duplicate Cross-Post. The cross-post will appear below the already created cross-posts, but it will carry the information of the already created cross-post and not of the original post.
Keeping track of cross-posts
Once more than two cross-posts have been added to a content, a new field appears on the right below the original content. This allows you to sort the cross-posts by:
- Publish date (descending, ascending)
- Created at (descending, ascending)
- Content type (descending, ascending)
