For which platforms does automatic publishing work?

Pre-scheduling posts and publishing them automatically via Communications Control works for the following networks or platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), GoogleMyBusiness, Staffbase, TikTo, WordPress and YouTube.

Is there a limit for publishing content?

In general, you can publish as many posts as you want via Communications Control. The only exception to this is Instagram: The platform allows third-party tools to publish a maximum of 25 posts over a 24-hour period. Carousel posts are considered as one post.

Why was my content not automatically published?

If content is not published as desired, this can have several causes:

1. You manually set the status Published. This is wrong. Planned content needs to be set to the status Planned to be published automatically at the time entered. The status Published signals to Communications Control that a post that has already been published natively has been added subsequently.

2. You have not selected a publication channel. You need to select the respective account in the Channels field.

3. The access token of your channel expired (visible by a pink warning triangle next to the channel). If this is the case, follow these instructions to renew your access token.

Can people and organizations be tagged in LinkedIn posts?

No, neither private nor organization profiles can be tagged in LinkedIn posts.

Can content that has already been scheduled on Facebook still be edited via Communications Control?

No, once content has been submitted to Facebook via the Schedule on Facebook status, it can only be edited directly on Facebook.

Can bilingual posts be created?

No, this option is limited by the API of the social media platforms. If a post is needed in two or more languages, we recommend duplicating the post and manually translating it into the target language.

Can Facebook events be created via Communications Control?

No, this function is not possible on the part of the Facebook API. Facebook events have to be created directly on Facebook.

Can Facebook groups be linked/in Facebook groups be posted?

No, the linking of Facebook groups is not possible on the part of the Facebook API.

Can deleted content be restored?

Deleting content is irreversible in Communications Control. Accordingly, only delete content that you definitely no longer need.

What happens if a sent channel approval is not responded to?

The channel approval is considered to have expired. In this case, Communications Control reacts in the same way as in the case of a rejected approval. Accordingly, the content will not be published.

Can corrections be made to content after it has been published?

Once published via Communications Control, content can no longer be edited in Communications Control. An exception to this is Staffbase content.
For all other content types, only the strategic information can be adjusted after publishing.

How can link information be exchanged?

Who will be informed about an expired access token?

The email is sent to channel administrators and users with administrative rights for channel management and read rights for team settings. However, to renew the access token, admin rights are required on the platform itself, such as Facebook.
