Content templates help you prepare content that is similar in terms of content and strategy.
Creating content templates
You can create templates for each content type you need. Proceed as follows in each case:
- Create a new content and enter a clear title.
- Select the desired content type.
- Select the desired post type within the content type.
- Fill in all relevant strategic information.
- Provide the post editor with content, for example, text, placeholders, hashtags and more.
- Set the status to Template.
- Save the template.
Working with content templates
After you have created your template(s), you can use them for quick and easy content creation.
During content creation, the desired template can be selected in the Template field. All of the template's defaults will be applied to the new content. This includes not only the specific post type and text in the post editor but also all strategic information.
-
Create a new content and fill in the content type field.
Note: Since each template refers to a specific content type, the template field appears only after a content type has been selected. Besides, it is not necessary to fill in the title field since this is automatically changed to the template title once chosen.
-
In the template field, select the template you want to use.
Note: Not all created templates appear in the dropdown menu, but only those that exist for the respective content type.
-
Modify the content of the template as you wish, add assets or links, and enter a status and publish date.
Note: Changes made in this process are not applied to the template, only to the content itself. To modify templates, please follow the instructions below.
