You can get approval for content not only from colleagues who actively work with Communications Control but also from external people.
First, you must create external users via Team Administration > General > External Users. You can find more detailed instructions here.
Once the external user has been created, open the content that is to be approved. Click on the thumb icon. The approval view opens.
You can include external users in both simple and advanced approvals. The steps are the same:

Select the approval mode (simple or advanced) via the switcher in the upper left corner.

Click on the field Mandatory users or Optional users.

Select the desired user in the field External users.

Optional: Select an expiration date and a password.

Click the button Request approval.
The external user receives an email with a link to the respective content. If you have assigned a password, the external user will receive this in a separate email. When accessing the content, the external user will be asked to enter the corresponding password.
The external user will be forwarded to the External View. Here, he can see the content to be approved, leave comments, and allow or deny the approval.
Depending on your personal settings, you will be notified about the approval outcome by email, push message, or in-app notification.
