To enable multiple uses of communication content, content and cross-posts can be duplicated in Communications Control.

To do this, follow the steps in these instructions, depending on whether you want to copy the content from the detail view or one of the views in the content module.

Duplicating content in the content detail view

1. Open the detail view of the content you want to copy.

   

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page or to the point where you see the editing options.

   

3. Click the Duplicate option.

   

4. Select which of the attached cross-posts should be included in the copy operation, then click Copy Contents.

   

   Info: If there are no cross-posts, this step is skipped.

5. The copied content will open automatically, each with the title addition Copy of ...

   

Duplicating content in one of the views of the Content module

1. Open the Content module in any view.

   

2. Click on the three-dot menu of the content that is to be duplicated.

   

   Exception: extended list (here, the duplicate option is located as an icon below the content)

   

3. Select the Duplicate option.

   

4. Select which of the attached cross-posts should be included in the copy operation, then click Copy Contents.

   

   Info: If there are no cross-posts, this step is skipped.

5. You will be informed about the success of the copy action, but the content will not be opened automatically, unlike the previous instructions.
