You can use My Files to upload a new file, add an existing one from your files and collections, and edit or remove a file from a page or news post.
Currently, the My Files does not support the option to delete a file from the platform. But you can at any time remove a media file you added to a page or news post. If you want to delete a file from the File Manager, you can reach out to the Studio administrator.
Uploading a New File
- In the Studio, navigate to the page or post to which you want to add a file.
- In the content editor, click where you want to add the file.

In the content editor toolbar, click the media icon to open the menu.

Click Upload from Computer and select a file from your computer.
This is the quickest way to add a new file directly to the content.
If you are unsure if your file was already uploaded before, click My Files to open your personal file manager to view, upload, and add files.
You have added a new file to your content.
Adding a Previously Used Media File
Only files uploaded after August 10, 2022 are shown in My Files.
- In the Studio, navigate to the page or post to which you want to add a file.
- In the content editor, click where you want to add the file.

In the content editor toolbar, click the media icon to open the menu.
- Click My Files.

Optionally, click the All File Types dropdown menu and select the files you want to filter from.
- Optionally, use the sorting options or different view options to get a better overview of your files.
- Click one or more files and select.
- Click Add.
Adding a File from Collections
- In the Studio, navigate to the page or post to which you want to add a file.
- In the content editor, click where you want to add the file.

In the content editor toolbar, click the media icon to open the menu.
- Click My Files.

Double-click the collection where the file is located.
- Select one or more files from the collection.
- Click Add.
You have added a file from a collection for your content creation.
Editing a Media File
- In the Studio, navigate to the page or post in which you want to edit the file you added.
- In the content editor, click the file you want to edit.
The edit and delete icons are displayed. - Click the pencil icon to edit.
The edit dialog options will vary based on the file type you added.
For images, you can crop the image to include portions of the image you want to be displayed.
For a video file, you can edit the preview image that is shown on the page or news post.
- In the Add/Edit video dialog, select a preview option:
- one of the automatically generated custom preview images
- add a new preview image
- Click Save.
For a document file, you can edit the title and choose if there is a preview image.
- In the Add/Edit Attachment dialog, optionally edit the file title.

Optionally, configure if you want a preview image by adjusting the toggle Show preview image.
By default, the preview image is enabled.
- Click Add.
Removing a Media File from Content Editor
- In the Studio, navigate to the page or post from which you want to remove the file.
- In the content editor, click the file you want to remove.
The edit and remove icons are displayed. - Click the trash icon to remove it.
- Save the page or post.
