The Analytics dashboard provides deeper insights into how, when, and where users engage with the Staffbase platform. The Analytics dashboard is divided into different categories to allow you to dive deep into metrics.
This article explains the Navigator tab in detail, including the table and analytical data found within it. Learn more about the entire Analytics dashboard, including user role access, in the Overview of the Analytics Dashboard.
Learn more about Analytics terminology in the Analytics Glossary. You can access the Navigator tab if your administrator has granted access.
Filters
The Navigator tab displays data from the last week by default. You can change the date range and use further filters to refine the results. Learn more about filtering.
Metrics
In the Navigator tab, there is one table with detailed metrics and further individual metrics for conversation logs.
Conversation List
The conversation list is an extensive overview of the different types of content that had interaction in your platform. By default, the date range filter is set to seven days when first opening the tab. The list displays all conversations the Navigator has had during that time period. Select a different date range to display more conversations.
The different table headers detail specifics about the content. The table headers are:
| Header | Description |
| Conversation | A brief conversation summary |
| Mode | If voice or text input method was used |
| Device | The device used for the interaction |
| Language | The language(s) used during the conversation |
| Messages | The number of messages sent during the conversation |
| Reported Issue | Any issue reported by the user during the interaction |
You can open the conversation log by clicking on the Conversation title. The table is automatically sorted by most recent. You can further customize the list using filters.
Individual Conversation Logs
You can open a conversation to view detailed information about a specific interaction with Navigator. Reviewing these details helps you identify knowledge gaps and improve response quality. User identities are not visible. In addition, if privacy settings are enabled, conversations are hidden, and only the prompts sent to Navigator are displayed.
Each log includes the following information:
- Summary: A brief overview of the interaction
- Intent: The detected user intent behind the query
- Reported issue: Any issue flagged by the user during the interaction
- Resolution state: The current status of the issue
- Transcript: The full conversation between the user and Navigator. If privacy settings are enabled, only the search prompt run by Navigator is displayed.
