You can join a live stream event in Staffbase Live either as a moderator or as a member of the audience. Each role has a distinct purpose and access method.
Accessing a Live Event to Participate
You can access the event based on your assigned role.
If you are a speaker, you typically receive a moderator link in a personal message or email from the event creator. Use this link to access the event.
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Events Center > Scheduled > the broadcast setup you want to preview.
- Click the three dots to open the actions menu.
- Click Preview broadcast.
The Broadcast Studio tab opens. Click Start Live Stream.
You may need to grant your browser permissions to access your camera and microphone.
You have accessed the link and can start hosting the event. When it is time to end the session, you can click End Live Stream.
If you are added as a user, you receive an email with the link to where the event will be streamed in the App or Intranet.
- Open the email you received that contains the event link.
- Click Join Event.
You are taken to the event. If you joined earlier, the page shows that the event is yet to start and if you joined too late, it shows that the event has ended.
