The multichannel Editorial Calendar provides transparency between your different Staffbase channels for a truly seamless experience. In addition to all of the great features for News, you can give your editors a cohesive and aligned overview of their internal communication content with the multichannel Editorial Calendar. When Employee Email is available in the Studio of your employee app or intranet, your editors can have a quick look at their own scheduled and sent emails and also create new emails directly in the Editorial Calendar.
From the Editorial Calendar, you can conveniently:
- Create new emails
- View your own scheduled and sent emails
- See the status of an email
- Navigate to the Email Designer
- Access email statistics and details, once the email is sent
Creating an Email in the Editorial Calendar
- In the Studio, navigate to Planning > Editorial Calendar.
- Click Create > Email.
- Enter an internal title, a folder, and optionally a target group and a campaign.
- Click Next.
- Under Select how you want to create your email, select an option.
If you selected Use a Template, choose a template.
- Click Next.
The Email Designer opens. - Create your email.
You have created an email. It is now visible to all editors inside the Editorial Calendar.
Navigating to the Email Designer From the Editorial Calendar
You can navigate to the Email Designer to edit an email when it is scheduled but has not yet been sent. Once an email is sent, you can no longer open it via the Editorial Calendar.
- In the Editorial Calendar, navigate to the scheduled email you want to open.
- Select the email.
The flyout opens. - Click on the email title.
The Email Designer opens in a new tab.
You have opened the Email Designer and can now edit your scheduled email before it is sent.
Accessing Email Statistics and Details From the Editorial Calendar
You can open a dashboard with email statistics and details directly from the Editorial Calendar once an email has been sent.
The statistics tab includes the following metrics:
- Recipients
- Opens
- Clicks
- Email Funnel
- Top Links
- Distribution of Total Activities
- Progression of Unique Activities
The details tab includes:
- Sending Date
- Target Audience
- Sender Address
- Sender Name
- Reply Option
- Campaign
- Subject
- Preview of the email
- In the Editorial Calendar, navigate to the email for which you want to view statistics or details.
- Select the email.
The flyout opens. - Click on the email title.
A dashboard with the email's statistics opens in a new tab. - Click the Details tab to view the email's details.
You have accessed the email's statistics and details and can now take a look at the metrics.
