The Staffbase Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot is a Staffbase extension in Microsoft Teams that allows Microsoft 365 Copilot to respond with information from your Employee App with the source links. Hovering over a link displays an adaptive card with details about the information source. You can also summarize, translate, or use any other functionality that Microsoft 365 Copilot offers.
The Staffbase Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot utilizes shared tenant data.
Prerequisites
- You have a Microsoft 365 Copilot license or use metered consumption.
- Your administrator has installed the Staffbase Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Selecting the Staffbase Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot
- In Microsoft Teams, navigate to Chat > Copilot.
Alternatively, you can also navigate to the Copilot pinned app or the Microsoft Teams web interface. - In the right panel, under Agents, click Staffbase Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot.
The name and icon of the agent can differ based on how your organization customizes the extension.
You have selected the Staffbase Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot. You can now find targeted responses from your Employee App.
Interacting With Copilot Using the Staffbase Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot
- In Microsoft Teams, navigate to Chat > Copilot.
Alternatively, you can also navigate to the Copilot pinned app or the Microsoft Teams web interface.
Ensure that Staffbase Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot is selected on the right panel. - Type in your question or prompt.
You may be prompted to sign in to your Employee App.Microsoft 365 Copilot responds. - Hover over a source link to display the Staffbase adaptive card.
- On the Staffbase Adaptive Card, click Open to access the source post.
If Microsoft 365 Copilot doesn’t pull up the desired information, try adjusting or reframing your prompts to guide Microsoft 365 Copilot to the correct source.
