The profile hover card displays a quick view of an employee's user profile. It provides key information about employees at a glance, in different areas of your Intranet. The hover cards allow you to see specific details, navigate to their full profile page, or start a chat conversation.

Desktop users can see the following information on the profile hover card:

• Profile fields: The profile fields from an employee’s user profile. What is listed is individual to each company but can include their name, avatar image, position, department, and location. Profile hover cards only display system profile fields, and not custom profile fields. 
• View Profile: The View Profile button opens the employee’s full user profile.
• Message: The Message button opens a chat conversation with the employee. This button only appears when your company has Chat enabled in your Staffbase platform.

You can find profile hover cards by moving your cursor over an employee’s name in the Intranet in the following places:

• Reactions
• Comments
• @Mentions
