Adding an Image to Your Profile

A picture on your profile creates a visual connection with your page visitors, making it easier for them to recognize and connect with you better.

There are two types of images you can upload to your user profile:

  • Avatar Image: Uploading your picture to your user profile can help others easily recognize you. It will help you stand out from other people with a similar name and will also add to your visibility when you add a post or comment on something. Your avatar image will not only be visible on your profile, but also on your comments and in the Staffbase Studio.
  • Header Image: Uploading a header image to your user profile can help to personalize your profile and make it stand out. It can also help convey your personality, interests, or your story.
    The header image has no fixed resolution and can vary depending on browser window size and/or display size.

Here are the recommended sizes for user profile pictures:

File Size

The file size for both header image and profile picture is 25 MB.

If the image does not match the recommended size, it will be automatically resized to the optimal size. The aspect ratio remains intact and you can additionally crop the image.

Adding an Avatar Image

Add an avatar image using the following steps on the Web App or Mobile.

  1. Open the profile menu.
  2. Click on your name.
    Your profile opens.
  3. Click Edit Profile.
    The edit mode opens.
  4. Click Upload under the avatar image.

  5. Choose an image from your device.

  6. Set the focus point of your avatar image and click Upload.

    The avatar image is displayed above your name.

  7. Click Save changes.

You have added an avatar image to your user profile.

  1. Open the app menu.
  2. Tap on your name.
    Your profile opens.
  3. Tap Edit.
    The edit mode opens.
  4. Tap Upload.

  5. Choose an avatar image from your device.

  6. Set the focus point of your header image and tap Upload.


    The avatar image is displayed above your name.

  7. Tap Save.

You have added an avatar image to your user profile.

Adding a Header Image

Add a header image using the following steps on the Web App or Mobile.

  1. Open the profile menu.
  2. Click on your name.
    Your profile opens.
  3. Click Edit Profile.
    The edit mode opens.
  4. Click Upload Header Image.

  5. Choose a header image from your device.

  6. Set the focus point of your header image and click Upload.

  7. Click Save Changes.
