In Communications Control you have the possibility to set the notification settings individually per module. Please note that there are no universal perfect settings for notifications because every user has different requirements for Communications Control.
Tip: We recommend to check your notification settings after a 2-3 week usage of Communications Control and make changes if necessary. This way you will already get a feeling for which actions notifications are useful and for which actions you can go without them.
To change your notifications, follow these instructions:
1) Click on your user profile in the upper right corner and select the personal settings.
2) Open the Notifications tab and select the team in which you want to adjust the notification settings.
Note: You can make cross-team adjustments to your notification settings, but not cross-user. Each user must therefore define their own settings.
3) Now define per section which actions should be notified and how.
You can choose between the following notification ways:
-
E-Mail: If an event occurs, you will be notified via your account at the e-mail address provided;
-
Push: Provided that the browser supports push notifications and you activated them, you will be notified of the latest events on the bottom-right hand corner of the screen, even when the browser is closed;
-
In-app: Selected events are exclusively shown in the Notification Centre toolbar via the bell icon.
Activated in some teams:
If some of the boxes are pre-filled with a minus symbol, this means that the setting is activated for some teams. If therefore, you select All for teams and find the minus symbol, it means (for example) that the setting is activated for Team A and deactivated for Team B. If you are applying these settings to a single team only, this symbol will not be shown.
