Where can I change the language within Communications Control?
Communications Control is developed multi-lingual. You can choose between German and English. Additional languages can be integrated by request. You can find the language selections in your settings. You can reach them by clicking on your profile picture in the upper right corner of the menu bar. After choosing your preferred language the settings will enter automatically. There is no need to press "save".
What's the difference between hashtags and tags?
Hashtags and tags basically pursue the same goal: they tag measures and editorial content with suitable keywords.
The difference between the two terms is that tags are intended for internal use while hashtags are used within content to be published (=external).
Example: A Facebook post that refers to job offers of your company contains the (internal) tag Employer Branding as well as the (external) hashtag #workwithus.
Can a deleted team be recovered?
Unfortunately, deleted data, including teams, cannot be recovered after their deletion. Therefore, think very carefully about whether you want to continue the deletion process when asked.
In which country does Communications Control host the data?
Communications Control is hosted in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. The servers are located in Amsterdam and Dublin.
Can I work in two different Communications Control teams in parallel?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. If you need to make changes in multiple teams, we recommend making all changes in one team first and then switching to the other team.
Can I (with the role "Admin") assign another user as admin?
The role Admin does not entitle you to assign this role to other users. This is reserved for the license admin of Communications Control.
Alternatively, you can create a new role, select the individual permissions exactly like those of the Admin role and then assign the new role to the desired user.
Can I change the license admin of Communications Control?
It is possible to change the license admin of Communications Control. Please note that only one person can hold this role.

How do I get new recovery codes (2FA)?
If you have activated 2-factor authentication and use the recovery codes to log in, open your personal settings when you enter your last recovery code and click on Login methods. Clicking on the lock opens your current recovery codes. Now click the Generate New button on the bottom left and save the new codes in a secure way.
In case you missed this step when logging in with your last recovery code and therefore cannot log in now, please contact our support. They will provide you with new codes.
What does the addition Experimental behind Instagram accounts mean?
Experimental publishing means that publishing is possible via Instagram's interface using the login data. This is a specification on the part of the Instagram interface.
What do I have to do if the password of a channel linked to Communications Control has been renewed?
When changing login data of your channels linked to Communications Control, the Access Token of the corresponding channel automatically loses its validity (neither content can be published on this channel nor dialog tickets can be received for this channel). You have to renew the Access Token by specifying the new password. Please note that this is only possible if you have the appropriate rights within Communications Control and know the new password.
For license admins only
When will the data be finally deleted after the contract is terminated?
Deletion takes place after one month from the termination of the contract. In connection with the termination of the contract and/or at the latest one month before the deletion of the data, you will be informed by Staffbase Koblenz GmbH of the agreed deletion and will cooperate in the withdrawal of the data to the extent necessary. You can also find more detailed information in our General Terms and Conditions.
How can I delete demo data in Communications Control?
Within the account administration you can delete all demo data for the whole license. This right is limited to the license owner. Open the account administration with a click on your profile and select the option "Account Administration". Choose the tab "license details" and scroll to the end of the page. Now click on the red button to delete the demo data.
