Analytics |
In the analytics module you receive insights into everything created in Communications Control, the performance of published content, your performance in community management, metrics from the shared library and much more. The respective boards can be exported completely or partially if required. |
Assigned to |
The "assigned to" field can be found in ideas, content, themes and events. It indicates which persons work on the item. No limitation is specified here. Accordingly, all participants can be stored, e.g. the content creator, the graphic designer, and the online marketer. |
Channels |
Channels are, for example, social media accounts (such as an Instagram profile), destination addresses or URLs (such as a blog), or other publishing platforms to be connected via an API, where the content is published. |
Channel administrator |
The channel administrator can select channel owners for content and for dialog. To be a channel administrator, the user needs the following access permissions: Write permissions for channel administration, Read permissions of team settings and Administration permissions of content publications. |
Channel approval |
Channel approval is necessary if at least one channel responsible has been entered for a channel. Without their approval, no content can be published on the corresponding channel. |
Channel manager |
Channel managers are responsible for individual channels. The channel manager can assign responsibles for content and dialog approvals (for the respective channel). |
Channel manager for dialog |
Channel managers for dialog can approve replies to comments and direct messages for this channel. If no channel owners were selected in the first place, only permissions on Dialog are required to reply to comments and direct messages on this channel. |
Channel manager for content |
Channel managers for content can approve posts on this channel. If no channel managers were selected, only publishing permissions are required to publish on this channel. |
Content |
Contents are communication measures planned in Communications Control that are distributed on the corresponding channels, such as a LinkedIn post, a tweet, or a press release. |
(Content-related) approval |
Content approvals can be requested for ideas, content and responses to dialog tickets. External users can also be involved in this process. With the help of previously defined approval rules, actions can be determined that automatically take place after the approval is granted or denied. For content, in some cases it is also necessary to request a channel approval. |
Content types |
All communication types or content formats for which content is created. Content types can be linked to one or more channels, for example, the "Facebook" content type can be linked to all of your company's Facebook pages (channels). |
Dialog |
This is where all comments, messages and ratings on Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and GoogleMyBusiness come in. Reactions and responses to tickets received are made directly via Communications Control. |
Digital Asset Management |
A central location for all files, images and videos. Thanks to a freely definable folder structure, you will find all assets sorted and structured. |
Entity permissions |
Entity permissions can be created for content, topics, and media and only allow access to explicitly selected roles, groups, and users. They can be added as a separate module in Communications Control. |
Events |
The event module contains all events that are relevant for your editorial planning. Events or occasions are often happenings. Content can be created for an event. |
External users |
External users do not have full access to Communications Control. Content can be shared with them. Content cannot be edited in the external view. However, external users have the possibility to comment on it and be included in approval processes. |
Goals |
Goals refer to strategic objectives that you are pursuing with your communications efforts. Goals can be stored in the respective strategy area when creating ideas, content, topics & assets. |
Hashtags |
A hashtag enables tagging by marking a word or a string of words with a hash (#). Hashtags are used in content creation and are thus used for external tagging on the corresponding channels. Topic-related hashtags can be grouped into hashtag groups and thus selected with one click during content creation. |
Ideas |
Ideas are a preliminary stage to final content. Unlike content, ideas do not yet have a publication date and do not appear in the calendar. An idea can become a content or a topic. |
Inline editing |
The ability to make changes to objects in table views without having to open them in the detail view. Note: The inline editing option is indicated by a pencil that appears when hovering over the fields. |
Inspiration |
This module contains all external content to which you have subscribed to RSS feeds in advance. An inspiration can be turned into an idea or content with one click. |
Placeholders |
In Communications Control you can define placeholders to insert in posts. While you work with the title in Communications Control, the 'value' appears later on the social networks. So the value can be, for example, a recurring greeting or something similar. |
Responsible user |
This field can be found in ideas, content, topics and events. It identifies the people who are responsible for an object. These do not necessarily have to be those who create the object (see "assigned to"), but rather are those who oversee its creation. For example, in the example of a blog article, the responsibility would be with the Head of Marketing, but the assignment would be with the Content Creator. |
Shared library |
With the help of the shared library topics, individual content, ideas or assets can be made available to other teams. They can add the shared items to their own editorial calendars with one click. |
Story |
A story is a kind of container to which several individual pieces of content can be assigned. The story serves as an overarching briefing to get everybody involved. |
Strategy |
In the team settings, you can store various strategic components, such as topic categories, goals, target groups, tags and much more. All information stored here can be assigned in the respective strategy tab during later content creation. |
Tags |
In Communications Control, content, topics, topic categories, ideas, tasks, tickets, and media can be tagged during creation/editing for better discoverability. In comparison to hashtags, which are used externally, tags are the internal equivalent. |
Topics |
The topics module allows for planning and organizing projects with a longer duration. Ideas, stories, content, events or media can be assigned to a topic. |
Topic categories |
You have the possibility to create a multi-level topic structure in Communications Control (meta topic categories topic categories sub topic categories). |
Target groups |
People or groups of people who are to be reached with the measures. |
