With the help of Single Sign On (SSO), all users in your team can log into Communications Control via your organization's own central login service.
The Single Sign-On is a paid extension of Communications Control. For questions about pricing and everything else, contact the support or your Customer Success Manager.
Login is possible, for example, via typical identity providers such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD). You can find out which requirements must be met for this here.
To enable Single Sign On, proceed as follows:
The initial configuration of the SSO is done in collaboration with your Customer Success Manager.
Once this step has been completed, it is possible to configure a login method per user (in the user settings). This setting is only possible as a Communications Control admin. You have the following options:
Option 1: In the user settings, set which login method should be activated per user (simultaneous assignment of a method to multiple users possible). In the dropdown menu, the login provider of your organization is displayed, so you can set it for selected users.
Single assignment of the login method:
Bulk assignment of the login method:
Option 2: You can further set a single sign-on identifier per user. This will be used if the identifier, usually the email address of the Communications Control user, differs from the one defined in your login provider. If this applies, enter a different email address in this field.
Once all of the above are fulfilled, the SSO is active for all users. They will have to open the Communications Control login page and enter their email address stored in Communications Control.
The system automatically detects whether an SSO exists for the user. If so, your users will be redirected to a page where they can select the appropriate login type and log in via your organization's login service.
If there is no SSO active for the user, they will be directed to the standard password page.
