You can add a blocker within the editorial calendar to include important company plans or communications. Blockers are visible to all editors. You can also set a publishing freeze for the timeframe. The publishing freeze will suggest that editors consider rescheduling their posts, both in the editorial calendar and the Studio news editor. Editors can plan their posts outside of those times for maximum reach, helping you take your organization’s content planning to the next level.
Add a blocker to remind editors about the global Sales meeting on Thursday afternoon or reserve Monday morning with a publishing freeze for an important CEO announcement. Use blockers to set regular reminders, for example when the weekly email digest should be sent, to make the Editorial Calendar your all-in-one communication calendar.
Add a Blocker
- In the Studio, navigate to the Editorial Calendar.
- Click Create, and select Blocker from the dropdown menu.
- Enter a title, the time period, and optionally, a description.
- Optionally, set a publishing freeze with the blocker to suggest rescheduling posts for a different time.
- Click Create.
You have created a blocker and it is now visible to all editors inside the Editorial Calendar.
