When you send emails using the Employee Email add-in for Outlook or Gmail, the process of sending to your distribution lists, a contact group, or a group of individual addresses is the same. There are, however, a few tracking limitations to keep in mind.
Requirements
- At least 1 address is entered in either the To or CC fields.
- You have no more than 25 addresses between the To and CC fields.
There are no restrictions on the number of addresses in the BCC field. - Your distribution lists or contact groups are already configured.
Open a draft message in Outlook and enter your distribution list or contact group in the To or CC field.
If you prefer to put all of your recipients in the BCC field, you are still required to enter at least one email address, for example, a copy of the address you are sending from, in either the To or CC field.
When Recipient Counting is enabled in your Outlook Classic add-in settings, it will count the email addresses among all fields. Depending on your mail network, list configuration, and computer speed, this can result in delayed sending.
