Forms is the first Staffbase plugin Navigator can act on directly. When an employee’s conversation calls for a form, Navigator recognizes it, surfaces the form, and lets them complete and submit it without leaving the conversation.
No setup is needed on the Navigator side. However, each form does need a description, since Navigator uses it to recognize the form’s purpose and surface it at the right point in a conversation. Write a clear, specific description for Navigator to identify it.
Form Description to Navigator
When an employee mentions a task or situation within Navigator, Navigator checks whether a form’s description matches it. If one applies, Navigator suggests the form so the employee can fill it out right there.
For example, an employee mentions an issue with a delivery van. Navigator recognizes that a vehicle incident report form applies, suggests it, and walks the employee through completing and submitting it, without leaving the conversation.
Navigator fully respects each form’s existing settings. Only forms that are published, and whose space and visibility settings make them available to that employee, are ever suggested. An employee never gets a form through Navigator they couldn’t otherwise access.
Benefits
Right form, right moment
Employees get pointed to the right form at the moment they need it, instead of searching menus or asking a colleague where to find it.
Higher completion rates
Important processes, like incident reports or HR requests, are more likely to get completed, since Navigator removes the extra step of locating the form.
No extra promotion needed
Communicators don't need to separately publicize a form for employees to find it through Navigator.
