Once employees start responding to your form, you can review their answers in the Studio as a row-by-row response table or as a visual summary aggregated per question.
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Forms.
- Open the form you want to review.
- In the top menu, select Responses.
The Responses overview opens in the Response tab. - Review the submissions in the Response tab, or select Summary to review the results by question.
Review responses regularly rather than waiting until the form closes. Conditional logic means not every submission answers every question, so trends can shift as more responses come in.
Response Tab
The Response tab lists every submission as a row, with each question and any collected metadata as a column. Responses display in the order they were submitted, with the date and time of each submission. You can filter the responses by time range and by fields, such as department or location, to focus on a specific group of respondents.
Because all submissions are stored in a single table, edits to the live form are reflected going forward without creating a new version. Submission data is never lost: if a question is later deleted from the form, answers already submitted for it remain available, and the question is flagged as removed.
- Answers to questions hidden by conditional logic appear as empty cells for that submission.
- File upload answers appear as a link to the uploaded file.
To delete an individual response, select it and delete it.
Summary Tab
The Summary tab shows one card per question, in form order, with the question label and the total number of responses. Use it to read overall trends, and use the Response tab when you need to check or filter individual submissions.
| Question Type | Visualization |
|---|---|
| Single choice, multiple choice, dropdown, recipient, rating | Bar chart with percentage and count per option |
| Single-line text, paragraph | Individual response cards |
| Date | Individual response cards |
Charts and cards always display labels in the default language of your form, regardless of the language a response was submitted in. Choice-question charts combine counts across every language your form supports.
If you activated Show Results to Respondents in the form settings, employees see this same summary after they submit.
