    Accessing Content via Open Groups

    My Groups contain open groups that allow you to discover, join, and leave groups freely. When you join an open group, you gain access to all content published for the group, such as posts, calendars, event registrations, and chat messages.

    Open groups help connect users based on shared interests or geographies. Users join communities based on hobbies, such as music or photography. They are also commonly used for office locations, allowing users to subscribe to a location-specific group and access relevant local information while visiting another office.

    You can browse available open groups in the Employee App or Intranet and join or leave them at any time.

    Join Open Groups

    1. In the App, tap the Menu icon. 
      The Menu opens.
    2. Tap the Groups icon. 
      The My Groups page opens.
    3. Under Available Groups, navigate to the group you want to join.
    4. Tap Join on the group you want to join. You have joined the group. The group now appears under Current Groups, and you can access content relevant to the group. You can leave the group at any time.

    1. In the Intranet, navigate to your profile menu.
    2. Click My Groups.
      The My Groups page opens.
    3. Under Available Groups, navigate to the group you want to join.
    4. Click Join on the group you want to join. 
      You have joined the group. The group now appears under Current Groups, and you can access content relevant to the group. You can leave the group at any time.

    Leave Open Groups

    1. In the App, tap the Menu icon. 
      The Menu opens.
    2. Tap the groups icon. 
      The My Groups page opens.
    3. Under Current Groups, navigate to the group you want to leave.
    4. Tap Leave on the group you want to leave. 
      You have left the group. The group now appears under Available Groups, and you no longer have access to the group’s content. You can rejoin the group at any time.

    1. In the Intranet, navigate to your profile menu.
    2. Click My Groups. 
      The My Groups page opens.
    3. Under Current Groups, navigate to the group you want to join.
    4. Click Leave on the group you want to join.
      You have left the group. The group now appears under Available Groups, and you no longer have access to the group’s content. You can rejoin the group at any time.
