When you sign into an App or Intranet using your credentials, a verification code is sent to your email. You must enter this code to complete the sign-in process. This additional layer of security helps prevent unauthorized access, even if your password is compromised. The frequency of sign-in requests depends on your platform's user session lifetime settings, as defined by your administrator.

Prerequisites:

• You use one of the following methods to sign in to your platform:
  • Email and password
  • Username and password
• You have your email address on the platform.
• Multi-factor authentication is activated for your platform.

It works the same way for both web and mobile app.

1. In a web browser, enter your App or Intranet domain URL. For example, https://mycompany.com/
   The Sign In page opens.
2. Sign in using your credentials.
   The Verify Your Identity dialog opens, and you receive an email containing your verification code.
3. Open your email client and copy the verification code.
   
   The code is valid only for 15 minutes. If it expires you need to generate a new code by signing in again.
4. Return to the Verify Your Identity dialog and enter the verification code.
5. Click Verify.
   You are signed into the platform.
