If you use Staffbase Email together with the Staffbase Intranet or Employee App, refer to Overview of Profile Fields. The information below applies only when Staffbase Email is used as a standalone product.
Profile fields store user information about a user. These fields typically include personal information, such as the user's name, as well as other details that help identify the user. The profile fields are helpful for creating user groups with which you can target emails to contacts.
Before you add users to your Staffbase Email platform, you must set up the profile fields required for your organization.
Default Profile Fields in Staffbase Email
Staffbase Email comes with the following default profile fields:
- Department
- First Name
- Last Name
- Location
- Phone Number
- Position
You can delete any of the profile fields and create as many new ones as needed based on your organization’s requirements.
Deleting a profile field may impact existing user groups that use it as a condition for subsequent user creation.
