If you use Staffbase Email together with the Staffbase Intranet or Employee App, refer to Creating a User. The information below applies only when Staffbase Email is used as a standalone product.
You need to understand the rights and roles in Staffbase Email before creating users. You can create Studio users manually when creating one or two users on the platform. For bulk creation, you can use CSV Import.
Prerequisite:
- You have set up the profile fields required for your organization.
- In the Studio, navigate to Users.
- Click Create User.
The Create and Invite User Via Email opens. - Provide the First Name and Last Name.
Ensure to enter both the first and last name for users. If the last name is missing, the user may not receive the appropriate permissions in the Studio based on their role.
- In the Email field, provide a valid email address.
- From the Role dropdown, select a role.
- Click Create and Invite.
You have created a new user. The user is listed with a Pending user status. The user receives an email to register their account. Once the user registers their account, the user status changes to Registered.
