To quickly add a date to stories and topics that don't have a publishing period, you don't have to open the side panel for that object.

Adding a publishing date for stories and topics:

1. Place your cursor in the corresponding row at the desired (start) date.

2. Click your mouse when you see a plus icon.

3. The time span or end date is assigned automatically and depends on which view (in terms of time span) you are currently in:

   • Daily: End date will be set to 3 days after the start date

   • Weekly: end date is set to 3 weeks after the start date

   • Monthly: end date is set to 3 months after the start date

   • Quarterly: End date is set to 3 quarters after the start date

4. The story or topic will be visible at the selected time period with the corresponding icon in the Gantt area and a success message will appear.
