In order to modify individual Communications Control objects even faster and easier in the topic planning, all objects visualized in the Gantt area on the right can be moved via drag & drop.

To move an object, proceed as follows:

1. Click on the object you want to move and hold down the mouse button.

2. Move the mouse to the desired day or time and drop the mouse button.

3. If the relocated object is a content or an event, a field will open below the object where you can enter the time. Then click on the check mark. For topics and stories, this step is skipped.

4. The object will be positioned at the new date and a success message about the repositioning will appear.

To change the duration of objects, do the following:

1. Position your cursor at the beginning or at the end of the object whose duration should be adjusted.

2. The cursor automatically changes its shape and now represents an arrow.

3. Click on the arrow, hold down the mouse button and move it to the right or to the left, depending on whether you want to lengthen or shorten the duration.

4. If the adjusted object bundles other objects (e.g. a topic with several stories) that do not match the new duration, a popup will appear informing you about it. If you click Save here, step 5 follows; if you click Cancel, the entire action is discarded.

5. The object will be extended or shortened as desired and a success message will appear.
