The CSV file import helps you easily keep user data up to date on your Staffbase platform. Staffbase offers both manual and automatic CSV imports. Both manual and automatic CSV imports have the same features and capabilities, but automatic CSV imports allow you to set a schedule for automatic data syncs and eliminate the burden of frequent manual efforts. Automatic CSV imports are ideal if your user base changes quite often. In such cases, manual user imports on a weekly or even daily basis is no longer feasible.
You can automate all CSV import actions you perform in the Experience Studio to run on a schedule. This includes both complete and partial CSV imports. As a first step to automate the process, your IT team needs to upload your CSV file to the Staffbase environment using the Staffbase endpoint. Then, they can map your CSV file attributes to the Experience Studio fields and update scripts using the Staffbase endpoint. Once your IT team tests the script, they can configure the script to run on a schedule that meets your business needs.
