The qualified name for SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) can be mapped to a profile field to update the profile field automatically during user synchronization. Staffbase allows you to map both types of profile fields for automatic user synchronization using SCIM. Learn more about the different types of profile fields.
Your IT department can provide you with the respective qualified SCIM name that is used in the SCIM schema. Learn more about Staffbase user management using SCIM.
Qualified SCIM Name for a System Profile Field
For a system profile field, the qualified name for the SCIM attribute is filled automatically with the SCIM default mapping. However, you can edit the qualified SCIM name for the system field if you do not want to use the SCIM default mapping.
Qualified SCIM Name for a Custom Profile Field
You need to configure the qualified SCIM name for a custom profile field in order to automatically fill information into custom profile fields during user provisioning via the SCIM API.
